Popular Gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey has recounted how his wife suffered miscarriages while he continued to lead praise sessions during Hallelujah Challenge. He recently shared the emotional testimony in the early hours of Friday during the ongoing Hallelujah Challenge.
Speaking to his followers, Nathaniel said that he once left his wife on her hospital bed, while she suffered from an ectopic pregnancy, to lead praise and worship online.
Stressing that his wife has every right to be angry at him, he stated that the nurses taking care of her always hailed him for his powerful ministeration, despite the conception issue his marriage was experiencing at their clinic.
“My wife will have to forgive me. Do you know that there are times on Hallelujah Challenge when we had a miscarriage, nobody knew. I will still come to praise and dance. Some few years ago, she was on the hospital bed, ectopic pregnancy.
I will leave and come online, lead praise and worship and I will go back to the hospital and the nurses will tell me it was powerful tonight. The nurses attending to her. Not one, not two, not three, not four, five,” he said.
He further praised God for being faithful over the years, noting that believers are the ones who should never give up on Him.
Nathaniel concluded by saying that no one should ever doubt his Father’s existence because God is very real.
“So when people say, where is God? I say, I understand. God is faithful. One of the words that he gave us, the one is ‘don’t give up on God.’” he added.
