Popular comedian Destalker has come out to announce that he has divorced his wife.
He recently opened up about his personal life and marital struggles, and fans have been reacting.
Speaking during an interview with content creator, Timi Agbaje, Destalker revealed that his previous marriage was fun while it lasted.
According to him, despite their recent separation, he is presently living happily, which is further proof that one doesn’t have to be married to enjoy a happy home.
“I’m happy. I have a happy home. I was married, but I’m no longer married. Marriage doesn’t determine whether your home is happy or not,” he said.
Destalker stated that he and his ex-wife parted ways due to irreconcilable differences, and it was about time that happened.
Revealing that their marriage lasted three years after just six months of dating, the creative noted that while he can decide to remarry tomorrow, it’s more complicated for women.
The comedian maintained that he is not interested in pursuing any relationship at the moment.
He concluded by saying that marriage definitely favours the female gender more than it favours men.
“I can choose to remarry next week Friday or Saturday. For a woman, it’s not that simple. Men make the decision about marriage,” he added.
