President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has concluded a historic two-day state visit to the United Kingdom, marked by grand ceremonies, strategic meetings, and major economic agreements.
During the visit, President Tinubu held bilateral talks with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer at 10 Downing Street. Discussions focused on trade, economic cooperation, climate issues, and global security.
Trade between Nigeria and the UK has reached £8.1 billion, showing steady growth.
Historically, this visit comes 37 years after a similar trip by former military leader Ibrahim Babangida. Unlike that period, Nigeria is now under democratic rule, which adds more significance to the current engagement.
