Dotmount Communications has officially declared the postponement of the African Industrial and Development Conference and Award’s second edition, an international gathering focused on Energy and Sustainable Development in Africa. Initially slated for December 9, 2023, in Abuja, Nigeria, the decision to reschedule was prompted by the unexpected unavailability of the keynote speaker, Bronisław Komorowski, the former president of the Republic of Poland.
Adedotun Olaoluwa, the organizer, conveyed this development in a press release, expressing optimism about the future of renewable energy in Africa. Olaoluwa stated, “Despite this change, Dotmount Communications is optimistic about the future of renewable energy in Africa, and due to unforeseen circumstances, we find it necessary to reschedule the event to ensure a seamless and successful experience for all participants.”
Acknowledging the efforts invested by participants in preparing for the occasion, Olaoluwa expressed gratitude for their understanding. The press release assured stakeholders that updates regarding the event would be communicated through the website and email. The African Industrial and Development Conference and Award team extended their well wishes and encouraged attendees to anticipate the rescheduled AIDCA event.
The conference, a prestigious platform uniting government officials, business leaders, industry experts, investors, and stakeholders from Africa and beyond, is seen by organizers as holding even greater promise for success in the future.
