Moyo Ogunlewe to Nigerians: Tinubu Deserves Second Term, His Reforms Are Yielding Results
The City Boy Movement, Lagos State Chapter, has felicitated with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, all Nigerians and Lagosians on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.
In a goodwill message from its Director, Barr. Moyosore Ogunlewe, the movement said President Tinubu’s administration has made unprecedented progress in infrastructure, job creation, economic diversification and governance since assuming office.
Barr. Ogunlewe stated: “Like no one is perfect, President Tinubu is not perfect. Nevertheless, he has remained a kind-hearted leader with an exceptional eye for talents, putting round pegs in round holes. He understands our problems as a nation and has shown the political will to fix them. “He noted that in the fourth year of the administration, Nigerians have experienced a clear departure from the past, with exemplary leadership, vision and foresight driving the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Highlighting key achievements, the City Boy Movement Director who also serves as Zonal Director, Youth Mobilization, South-West APC Presidential Campaign Council, listed the President’s deliberate support for youths through landmark initiatives such as NELFUND, 3MTT, TVET, NiYA, YouthCred, CrediCorp, NYIF, iDICE and SMEDAN.
He also cited the passage of the 2023 Electricity Bill which decentralized the power sector, the Nigeria Data Protection Bill 2023, economic reforms that have attracted foreign investment, curbed inflation and boosted job creation, as well as massive investments in healthcare and education. On fuel subsidy removal, he described it as a bold step that has blocked corruption and freed resources for development.
According to him, the administration has also strengthened security through enhanced intelligence gathering and inter-agency collaboration, while rolling out social intervention programs to alleviate poverty. Barr. Ogunlewe stressed that nation-building is a collective responsibility, saying: “I have learned a great deal from our President by bringing governance to our people in Kosofe Local Government – transparency, timely service delivery and cost-effectiveness.
“He concluded that President Tinubu’s all most four years in office is a testament to resilience, integrity and dedication, and deserves continuity in 2027. “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the best for a united Nigeria at this critical point in our 66-year history. He deserves our full support for a second term to secure a brighter future and the continuity of the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
