The Nigeria-South Africa Chamber of Commerce (NSACC) held its February 2024 Breakfast Forum, sponsored by AIICO Insurance Plc, with Osayaba Giwa-Osagie, Chairman of the Chamber, delivering the opening remarks.
The significance of the forum in addressing the evolving business ecosystem and technology emphasized the crucial role of leadership in today’s rapidly growing business landscape, highlighting the need for agility, adaptability, and forward-thinking.
The event, which was held on Thursday, 29th February at Orchid Hall, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, focused on the theme: “Building Future-Proof Leaders: Equipping Your Workforce for Disruption and Change.”
This underscored the necessity for leaders to embrace change as an opportunity for innovation and to navigate uncertain times with clarity and resilience.

The Guest Speaker, Akshat Kumar, Chief Learning Officer at AIICO Insurance PLC, in his presentation on “Building Future-Proof Leaders: Equipping Your Workforce for Disruption and Change” underscored the critical importance of equipping organisations with future-proof leaders and preparing the workforce for disruption.
Emphasizing the evolving nature of learning, he highlighted the need to transition from solely learning from the past to sensing and actualizing possibilities in the emerging future. Drawing from his extensive experience, Kumar provided insights into how top organisations structure their systems to adapt to change and empower their workforce.
