IGP Commissions Security Assets in Ogun, Calls for Public Support to Strengthen Safety

The Nigeria Police Force has announced that the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, attended the commissioning of key projects in Ogun State, showing the Force’s strong commitment to improving security across the country.
At the event, new security vehicles and electric motorbikes were unveiled to boost police operations and ensure quicker response to incidents. The IGP praised the Ogun State Government for taking proactive steps to strengthen security, noting that these new assets will help improve patrol and safety in the state.
He also reaffirmed the Police Force’s readiness to work closely with the Federal Government and state authorities to tackle security challenges and protect lives and property.
The Police appreciated the support of the Ogun State Governor and other stakeholders, and urged residents to cooperate with law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activities, as security is everyone’s responsibility.
