FUNAAB ZOO PARK AND FIRST HERITAGE CULTURE AND HOSPITALITY LIMITED SET TO EMBARK ON BUSINESS RELATIONSHIP

The First Heritage Culture and Hospitality Limited and the Federal University of Agriculture Zoological Park (FUNAAB) are both set to embark on a business relationship that would see to ecotourism development, branding and marketing of various ecotourism products within the Zoological Park to both local and international audience.

Chief Executive Officer of The First Heritage Culture and Hospitality Limited; Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko made this known when he paid a courtesy call on the newly appointed Director of the FUNAAB Zoological Park; Prof. Sammy Olufemi Hanacho Sam-Wobo in Abeokuta, Ogun State, saying that they would also be on the lookout for individuals, corporate organizations, investors and stakeholders in the ecotourism sector of the ecotourism industry for funding and collaboration.

The meeting between the duo of Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko and Prof. Sammy Olufemi Hanacho Sam-Wobo which ended with understanding and arrangement to further strengthen the sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership between the two Organizations, also saw Omo’ba Ogundeko present his organization’s congratulatory letter to the director of the Zoological park.

Earlier in his remarks, Prof. Sammy Olufemi Sam-Wobo described the Federal University of Agriculture Zoological Park as a tourist attraction and conservation facility that focuses on the preservation of natural fauna and flora, adding that the park plays a key role in education, research, conservation, and captive breeding of wild animals.

The Director who also added that the park aside been a place for relaxation, also functions as a field laboratory for students in Zoology, Botany, Forestry and Wildlife Management, Hospitality and Tourism Management, and Veterinary Medicine and an educational resource for the general public.

Prof. Sammy Olufemi Hanacho Sam-Wobo appreciated Omo’ba Abiola Ogundeko for visiting the FUNAAB Zoo Park and the interest shown by his organization to create a mutually beneficial and sustainable partnership between the two Organizations.
