CSMC Amazing Grace District Leader, Calls For Sincerity In Governance, Advocates Peace, Unity Among Nigerians

The Leader of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Amazing Grace District Headquarters, Spec.Apos. Amb. O.O Aiyegbusi, has urged Nigerians to embrace peace and unite as a nation.

Aiyegbusi said for the nation to experience development and economical growth in 2024, there is urgent need to retrace its step by embracing peace in all sphere.

He however lamented the continued impoverishment of the masses by greedy political leaders, who have continued to milk the nation’s treasury.

In a New Year message, the Ogun State born Clergyman said that the people In government have over the years continued to show insincerity over the welfare of the people that voted them into power, and the exploitation the populace go through in the hands of the political class, urging the people in government to prioritize the welfare of the populace.

He also frowned at the the spate of insecurity, kidnapping, insurgency and wanton destruction of lives and properties that has remain unabated in the country.

The revered Clergyman has however urged Nigerians to embrace peace and unite as a nation to forestall the anomalies bedeviling the nation.

Speaking further, Aiyegbusi stressed that 2023 was a tough and challenging Year for Nigerians and Christendom as a whole, but with God on our side, we overcame and have cause to thank God for his benevolence.

“As Psalm 100 stated that we should make a joyful noise to the Lord, it is pivotal to Thank God for his goodness all through 2023 and also thank him for seeing 2024.

“We need to appreciate him and be positive about this New Year. We should all serve God with gladness. He has sustained us thus far. I personally, on behalf of my Family and the entire Church, we give him all the glory and adoration”.

He however urged the Church to be steadfast in faith, preach peace and show love to one another irrespective of tribe, religion, language, financial status and beliefs.

The Agriculturist turned Clergyman explained that he overcame all the challenges that he encountered in 2023, adding that 2024 is a Year to bury all hatchets and embrace peace.

“For our lives to be better and experience God’s supernatural upliftment, we have to be at peace with our neighbours, and hold firmly to God, because in him only our hope lies”, he concluded.

He also appeal to the Youths not to be criminally minded, but be productive by delving into acquisition of skills for the betterment of their future.
