I commend Governor Dapo Abiodun for his focus and consistency. True development is not about noise, but about making decisions that positively impact lives.

I returned to Ogun State today deeply encouraged by the level of progress on ground.
What I witnessed in Iperu reflects the kind of purposeful development we must continue to demand across Nigeria, well planned, intentional, and sustainable.
The Gateway Cargo Airport is a clear demonstration of what can be achieved when vision is backed by discipline and commitment. As I noted, our investments are centered on the people, laying a solid foundation for long-term prosperity.

From the aircraft unveiled today to the deployment of electric bikes, tractors, and security assets, this is the kind of tangible progress that should define governance practical, visible, and impactful. Development must reach every level, and it is encouraging to see this principle taking shape in Ogun State.
Our Renewed Hope reforms are delivering real results. By increasing resources available to states, we are creating opportunities for sub-national governments to take initiative and deliver meaningful outcomes. Ogun State is among those rising to this responsibility.
We remain committed to this path.
We are building for the people, and we are building for prosperity.
As they say in Ogun, “Ìṣẹ́ yá…” And I add, “Ìṣẹ̀ ń lọ.” The work continues.

President, Federal Republic of Nigeria
