Alhaji Tajudeen Adisa Sanni, fondly known as “Taju Craze,” lived a remarkable life defined by resilience, hard work, family devotion, philanthropy and an unwavering commitment to doing what was right. Born and raised around Ebute-Metta, Lagos, Alhaji Sanni lived a life full of experiences. Rather than allowing his circumstances to define him, he developed a strong and determined character, working tirelessly to build a better life for himself and those around him.
He was, above all, a family man to the core. From his younger years, he shouldered responsibilities beyond his age, caring for his siblings and later providing for his mother, wives and children. He strongly believed that a man should work hard and provide for his family. This sense of responsibility remained a defining part of his life.
His straightforwardness and honesty earned him the respect of those who knew him. His nickname, “Taju Craze,” was associated with his strong dislike for anything evil or dishonest. He was a man who valued truth, integrity and fairness and was not afraid to stand firmly by his principles.
Education and Technical Training
Alhaji Sanni began his education at St. Jude’s School, Ebute-Metta, before proceeding to Nigeria Peoples High School, Yaba/Ebute-Metta. He later attended Federal Trade Technical School, where he received practical training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning. His technical background became part of the foundation upon which he built his working life. After relocating to the United States, he continued his education at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, where he obtained further hands-on training that prepared him for professional opportunities. He also briefly attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the 1980s.
A Successful Entrepreneur
Through determination, discipline and an exceptional work ethic, Alhaji Sanni rose from humble beginnings to become a highly successful businessman. He built substantial business interests in the oil and gas sector in Nigeria and became recognised as a successful entrepreneur within prominent business circles. His success enabled him to acquire properties and investments in various parts of Nigeria and the United States of America. Despite his achievements, those close to him remember him not merely for his wealth, but for the journey it took to build it. He was a man who worked his way up through perseverance and determination.
A Philanthropist With a Generous Heart
Beyond business and personal success, Alhaji Tajudeen Sanni was also known for his philanthropic spirit and generosity. He believed that success carried a responsibility to help others. He extended support to family members, friends and people within his community whenever he was able to do so. His willingness to give, assist and create opportunities for others reflected his belief that a person’s achievements should have a positive impact beyond himself.

A Devoted Husband, Father and Brother
Alhaji Sanni was married to Mrs. Kemi Sanni and Mrs. Wonuola Sanni. He was a devoted father who took his responsibilities seriously and worked tirelessly to provide for his family. He is survived by seven children, four of whom reside in the United States and three in Nigeria. Among his surviving children are Taofeek, Taofeekat and Destiny, also known as Taibat. He is also survived by his younger siblings, Oyekanmi, Mudirat and Jide, all of whom reside in the United States.
A Life That Made an Impact
The story of Alhaji Tajudeen Adisa Sanni is one of a man who began life amid hardship but refused to surrender to his circumstances. From Ebute-Metta, he traveled a long road of struggle, learning, enterprise and achievement. He built a family, established businesses, created wealth and touched lives through his generosity and support for others. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends, associates and all who encountered him during his lifetime.
