Popular rapper and Hollywood producer 50 Cent has reacted to Diddy being exonerated of three of five charges in his sex trafficking trial.
After the jury couldn’t find the music mogul guilty of the major implicating allegations levelled against him, 50 Cent did not hesitate to share his reaction.
Briefly after the verdict, 50 Cent simply posted a photo of himself on Instagram with the caption below:
“Diddy beat the Rico, that boy a bad man! He like the Gay John Gotti.”
Recall that 50 Cent has been very vocal about his fellow rappers’ scandal, with the actor even going as far as running a commentary on Diddy’s legal woes and teasing an upcoming Netflix docuseries based on the many allegations.
Diddy, who was facing life in prison if convicted on all counts, broke down in court after the partial acquittal.
He was found not guilty of racketeering and two counts of sex trafficking but convicted on two charges related to transporting women for prostitution.
Meanwhile, Defence attorney and former prosecutor Neama Rahmani recently said that Diddy’s case might have been the most expensive ever.
According to him, after prosecutors failed to secure a racketeering conviction, it will surely lead to a huge financial blow to the government.
“This case was always going to hinge on racketeering. If the government doesn’t get a RICO conviction, this will be a huge loss and the most expensive prostitution trial in American history.
Consent is a defense.
What a tremendous loss for the prosecution. And a huge win for the defense,” he said.
