Veteran Yoruba movie actress Nike Peller has revealed why she stopped acting movies for a very long time, while also stating how some producers stopped giving her jobs, which affected her movie career.
In a video that was posted on the official YouTube channel of Kunleafod TV during an interview with Kunle Afod, she disclosed that she stopped acting movies when some actors insisted she must be in a relationship with them before giving her a movie role.
In her statement, she said, “I stopped acting movies when some actors insisted they must sleep with me to give me a job.
“I won’t mention the names of the actors, but I can confidently say that those actors only give movie roles to actresses that they are dating.
Most of the actors know that I’m a disciplined woman, and that’s why they always frustrate my efforts whenever I want to use my own money to produce my own movie.
