Former US President Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama have come out to address the divorce rumours that keep trailing their marriage.
Barack recently joined Mitchelle and his brother-in-law, Craig Robinson, for an episode of the siblings’ podcast, “IMO.”
Speaking during the episode, Craig revealed that it was very nice to have the couple in the same room.
“I know, because when we aren’t, folks think we’re divorced,” the former first lady replied.
Barack insisted that he never notices the rumours because speculations like that are the kinds of things that rarely grab his attention.
“So, I don’t even know this stuff’s going on. And then somebody will mention it to me, and I’m all like, ‘What are you talking about?’” he said.
Mitchelle confirmed that there has not been a single moment in her marriage when she has considered leaving Barack.
According to her, despite the very hard times they have both faced as a couple, they have had a lot of amazing and adventurous moments as well.
Mitchelle concluded by saying that she is a better woman today because she married Barack Obama.
“There hasn’t been one moment in our marriage where I’ve thought about quitting on my man. And we’ve had some really hard times and we’ve had a lot of fun times, a lot of adventures and I have become a better person because of the man I’m married to,” she added.
