Megastar Media Communications has successfully completed and donated an ultra-modern, solar-powered toilet facility to Junior Secondary School, Sokale Dutse Alhaji, Abuja.
This is part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and the official handover ceremony happened recently.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Adeniyi Ifetayo, CEO of Megastar Media Communications, reiterated the company’s commitment to community development and environmental sustainability.
“We believe that clean and safe sanitation facilities are a basic right for every child. By integrating solar technology, we’re not only addressing immediate health needs but also contributing to environmental sustainability and helping the school reduce its utility costs,” he said.
Receiving the facility on behalf of the school, Dr. Oba Funsho Usman, Principal of Junior Secondary School, Sokale Dutse Alhaji, expressed profound gratitude to Megastar Media Communications.
“We didn’t expect something of this magnitude. We are truly grateful to Dr. Niyi and Megastar Media Communications for this generous gift. May God bless you and replenish your pockets for all you have done,” Funsho said.
The new facility is set to massively improve hygiene standards, aid student health, and improve the overall learning environment.
