In a remarkable display of commitment to the welfare of his people, the Executive Chairman of Orile Agege LCDA, Hon. Johnson Sunday Babatunde, fulfilled the promise to enroll 500 residents within the LCDA to the Ilera Eko Healthcare Scheme. This is in line with the THEMES agenda of the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu with the aim to providing affordable and accessible healthcare services to Lagosians.
The enrollment process took place at the Council Secretariat earlier today, Wednesday, 29th November, 2023, where the selected beneficiaries gathered to partake in registration. Each individual, now part of the Ilera Eko Scheme, was given a tangible symbol of their newfound access to free basic healthcare—a personalized Ilera Eko card.
it was evident that Hon. Babatunde had not only fulfilled a promise but also sowed the seeds of positive change in the heart of all , as this privilege is key to unlocking a healthier future for the residents of Orile Agege.
