Afrika Fashion League has concluded plan to hold the fourth edition of 90mins Fashion Challenge. The fashion competition put together by Adebayo Ilupeju and Bernard Otunola will commence on April 27,2024. The organizers at a press parley penultimate week in Lagos said the competition berthed four years ago to showcase the talents of Nigerian youths and also empowering them, ”the competition basically is to encourage in Fashion, photography, shoemaking, beauty, accessories and Fashion to create an enabling environment for them to grow, but we are particular about the fashion challenge for now, and we have the plan to move into other professions too.
” We Nigerians spend billions of naira on foreign designers every year to buy fashion brands from America, Italy and the likes , we want to use this opportunity to let the World know Africans are not backward, we also have the talent to create good fashion designs.
However, the organizers have opened registration for #AFL90minutes challenge season 4 to upcoming fashion designers/tailors in Nigeria and neighbouring Africa Countries. How to participate: submit your bio, proceed to enter for free by posting 5 pictures of your work and tagging @afrikafashionleague and getting your friends to like and comment on it on Instagram., entries closes 18th April 2024, as time and conditions apply. Meanwhile 24 participants will be selected for the final stage on the 27th April to battle for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions.
According to the organizers winners will go home with Industrial sewing machine, mannequins, industry weaving machines, industrial pressing iron and more.
