Leading the new executive team is National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, alongside National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, and other key officers elected to pilot the affairs of the party for the next four years.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has formally inaugurated its newly elected National Working Committee (NWC) with the presentation of Certificates of Return, marking the activation of a new national leadership structure in Abuja.
The ceremony, held at the party’s national secretariat, was coordinated by the Convention Central Coordination Committee chaired by former Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari. He described the event as the final stage in the APC’s national convention process.
Masari charged the new leadership to uphold unity, discipline, and internal cohesion, noting that the party is entering a critical political period ahead of primaries and future elections.
In his remarks, Prof. Yilwatda praised the peaceful conduct of the convention and assured members that the new leadership would deepen internal democracy, expand participation, and reposition the party for stronger national impact.
