At the Fun Factory in Lekki, Nigeria, Hyde Energy, an indigenous energy trading company, celebrated its 11th anniversary with a unique Hyde Sports Fest and Family Fun Day themed #Hydelympics.
A football match between the event’s leading oil firms in Nigeria was one of the many events on offer.
Since starting business in 2012, Hyde Energy has expanded from importing and exporting refined petroleum products and crude oil to building Hyde retail outlets, introducing a wide range of lubricants, and creating a complete LPG distribution network.
In the past 11 years, the business has expanded as well, and it currently has offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Calabar, and Mauritius from where it serves clients.
In the year after its tenth anniversary, Hyde Energy has accomplished a great deal with a dedication to being the integrated firm of choice in the African market. Hyde Energy has relaunched its lubricants to highlight innovation as a pioneer in the lubricants sector.
Hyde Energy is the owner of one of Nigeria’s largest lubricant manufacturing facilities, with the ability to blend 30,000 liters of oil each day.
The business recently put into service a brand-new 40 MT LPG facility in Makurdi, the state capital of Benue.
The chief executive of Hyde Energy, Mr Oladimeji Edwards, said, “We are incredibly proud of one another, our story, and our journey so far. From the day we opened our doors in November 2012, we have not looked back. It is our aspiration to build a much bigger organisation, not just a global trading business, and with this goal, we have achieved significant milestones in the last 11 years. We are committed to continuing to grow and innovate in the years to come.”
In celebrating the anniversary and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, the company hosted the Hyde Sports Fest and Family Fun Day with several activities such as children’s face painting, paint and sip, giant Jenga, and tug of war.
The major highlight of the day was the football competition featuring Hyde Energy, Prudent Energy, Eterna, and Rainoil, with Eterna emerging as the inaugural winner of the competition.
