Popular Nigerian TikToker Peller has opened up about his personal journey from Islam to Christianity.
He recently revealed that the traumatic experiences he faced during his childhood led him to his turning point.
Speaking during a recent live session with his followers, Peller shared that his time at Ile Kewu actually left him emotionally scarred for a while.
According to him, experiencing the beating of his life at the traditional Quranic school eventually drove him away from Ile Kewu, and his escape ultimately led him to find Jesus Christ.
“I’m not a Muslim. I’m a Christian. I go to church. I was beaten severely when I was young at the Quranic School. That’s why I stopped going,” he said.
Meanwhile, Popular streamer Peller recently disclosed that his parents’ divorce impacted his academic performance negatively.
Speaking during an interview with Frank Edoho, Peller shared that his friends’ parents regularly disciplined them for their low exam scores, but he never experienced that because his father and mother were separated.
According to him, his mother, whom he actually grew up with, barely had the time to react to his poor academic results because she was a hustler.
“When I was in secondary school, I used to fail my exams. My classmates their fathers would punish them for their low marks, but no one pun!shed me at home because my parents were divorced.
I was staying with my mother and even she was hustling,” he said.
