The first lady of Akwa Ibom, Patience Umo Eno is dead according to reports that filtered in, in the early hours of Friday.
In a statement by Ini Ememobong, the commissioner information, said on Frida he said “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the Wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs Patience Umo Eno, following an illness,”
Governor Umo Eno thanked all those who stood by his wife when she was in the hospital, adding that further details of her burial would be made public.
Governor Umo has been married to Pastor (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno for 33 years. They have six children and several grandchildren.
