Prophet Ikuru Set to Succeed Sanwo-Olu in 2027

Prophet Godwin Ikuru, the founder of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry, has reaffirmed his intention to run for governor of Lagos State in the upcoming 2027 elections.

He believes that his deep understanding of the state’s complexities, along with his strong grassroots connections, make him the ideal candidate to govern Lagos from the Round House in Alausa.

Prophet Ikuru is widely recognized for his prophecies and philanthropic works. Notably, he accurately predicted President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 elections, as well as the elections of several governors in states such as Niger, Nasarawa, Kogi, Lagos, Imo, Edo, and Delta.

The prophet emphasized that his decision to enter politics should not come as a surprise, given his 27 years of experience living in Nigeria’s commercial capital. He believes this extensive experience has prepared him to effectively lead and govern the state, should he be elected.

He outlined his priorities for the state should he be elected. With a focus on inclusivity, transparency, and development, Ikuru has vowed to continue his legacy of philanthropy and community support in a more significant capacity.

His dedication to helping vulnerable communities and empowering youths has earned him respect across the state.

This, combined with his successful track record of accurately predicting and supporting influential leaders, has driven Ikuru to take a more active role in governance.

He believes that it is no longer enough to merely foresee and endorse the right leaders – now is the time for him to offer his own leadership as governor of Lagos State.

Prophet Ikuru envisions himself as a leader with a strong connection to the people, a clear vision for progress, and the courage to make tough decisions. His policy plans aim to tackle key challenges facing the state, including traffic congestion, housing shortages, youth unemployment, and healthcare.

He equally emphasised the importance of bridging the gap between the government and the people to foster trust and collaboration.

“It’s not enough to foresee and support the right leaders. Now, I believe it’s time for me to step forward and offer myself for service. Lagos State deserves a leader with a heart for the people, a vision for progress, and the courage to make difficult decisions. By God’s grace, I am ready to take on this responsibility,” he promised.
