Ronaldo Is Building Something Special In Saudi Arabia – Joao Felix

Portuguese forward Joao Felix has said that Cristiano Ronaldo helped convince him to join Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Nassr.

He recently revealed that Ronaldo is clearly building something great in the Middle East.

Speaking to the press, Felix said that CR7 was the first person to speak to him about a potential move to Saudi Arabia.

According to him, the Saudi Arabian league keeps improving every summer, and the high number of quality footballers playing in the league has made Middle East teams a force to be reckoned with in Europe.

Felix stated that he found the Al Nassr project enticing and exciting, hence his decision to join.

“Ronaldo? You can see he’s building something here and doing his part in developing the project.

He was one of the first to talk to me about coming here, and when he talked to me, I felt a wonderful moment and a beautiful feeling, and that helped convince me.

I feel like this league is evolving a lot. Every year, more players come to play here. The project at Al Nassr is good and exciting.

Of course, I want to help the team and the club as much as possible, score goals, provide assists, and help them win games.

And most importantly, I want to help Al Nassr win championships. Wherever I am, I try to do my best. I try to help my team-mates help the club I represent,” he said.

The former Chelsea and Barcelona forward further noted that he is currently working on stepping up his game to perform well for the club.

Joao Felix concluded by saying that adapting to his new environment wasn’t difficult because he has lived in several nations across the globe.

“I’m working on myself, working for the team. Because if the team does well, I do well too. We have great talents in attack who can score goals at any time. So, if we defend well, we can win almost every game.

It was easy for me to adapt. I’ve lived in many cities and countries. Riyadh is a huge city. Where I live is great for me, and this is a new stage in my career. We played against Al Ahli and Al Ittihad in the Super Cup.

What I can say is that they have great players and special coaches. They are well organised and play beautiful football. They were very difficult matches,” he added.
