The presiding pastor of House On The Rock Church and the convener of The Experience, Paul Adefarasin expressed optimism stating in clear terms that “our praises as a sweet-smelling offering to THE ONLY ONE” is what can turn the current reality faced by Nigerians around.
Adefarasin who spoke to Journalist earlier today posited that the yearly event tagged The Experience is one of the acclaimed biggest gatherings of gospel music enthusiasts globally and in more ways than one, symbolizes a beacon of hope disrupting the darkness of widespread hopelessness and feelings of desolation in the country.
Speaking on the theme for the year “Jesus our way maker”, he said it has a deep significance view taking into consideration economic and security challenges faced in the country.
This year’s edition of The Experience brings the concert to 18 years of continued existence which has birthed a counterculture that aspires to bring Heaven down to Earth into the reach of humanity, Adefarasin Said.
Conclusively he urged the body of Christ to intentionally nurture unrelenting commitment to the common good through persuasive mediums including but not limited to music and film.
Dunsin Oyekan in response to questions asked by journalists about how soul-deep his songs are and how he came about that, stated clearly that men do not need to go to God for songs, having a cordial relationship will make everything fall in place as he does worship in many ways and by allowing God to enjoy us, he will be able to use us
William McDowell who spoke about ‘The Experience’ emphatically stated that God allows a platform such as this to exist to bear fruit because it’s a platform that is well pronounced where people are aware of and allows pursuing God first.
Sinach who was present at the press conference humbly acknowledged that being ‘Sinach’ is only the handwork of God because she’s not the most talented but God in his mercies decided to express himself through her.
The Experience which is held annually at the Popular Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) in Lagos bring about the convergence of millions of people in person and on different online platform to feel the presence of God through different gospel artists every year.
This year’s edition was held December, 8th, 2023 will feature top gospel artists in the world such as Naomi Raine, Donnie McClurkin, Adeyinka Alaseyori, Beejay Sax, Muyiwa Olanrewaju, Nathaniel Bassey, Dusin Oyekan, Moses Bliss, Tope Alabi, IB Quake and many others.
