On the eve of Workers’ Day, the Federal Government made a significant announcement: a 25% to 35% increase in the salaries of workers across various sectors.
This boost, effective from January 1, 2024, applies to civil servants under six Consolidated Salary Structures, including CONPSS, CONRAISS, CONPOSS, CONPASS, CONICCS, and CONAFSS.
Notably, workers in the Tertiary Education and Health Sectors had previously received their raises.
Additionally, pensioners on the Defined Benefits Scheme will see increases ranging from 20% to 28%, mirroring the salary adjustments.
