The Supervisor for Budget and Planning in Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mrs. Azeezat Damilola Owonla-Odubajo has given out 200 Nigeria Certificate In Education (NCE) Scholarship to indigent in the council.
Odubajo popularly known as ‘Omo Owo’ is the General Secretary of Lagos State Supervisors and SA’s Forum.
AKNN gathered that the Scholarship forms to the young people of her LCDA in Partnership with Grand Plus College Education in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Our correspondent also spoke to some youths in the community, it was gathered that Odubajo is passionate about making an impact by using resources and connections to bring positive impact and very keen about education and empowerment which has made her always stand out from the multitude.
In her speech, She appreciated Almighty Allah for making this possible and also thanked Dr. Folasade Tinubu-Ojo for her continued support, she Also appraised her Leaders Alh Abdullahi Enilolobo, Alh Yusuf Sakiru Adisa for their guidance and support Always.
She also acknowledged the efforts of the Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, Mrs Bolatito Shobowale for making the event a success.
She advised all the beneficiaries of this Scheme to make proper use of this Scholarship as this is aimed to help them secure a better future and also eradicate menace in our community.
In conclusion she thanked all that were present, The SLG Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA, All Supervisors, All the Baale’s, The Apex Leaders, Excos and Members of Baruwa Ward E, Omo-Owo Team and all well wishers.
