Kanye West’s Visa Was Cancelled Because We Don’t Need A Nazism Promoter In Our Country – Australia

Australia has cancelled American rapper Kanye West’s visa over his song that glorified Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. The government recently made the announcement, and the world has been reacting.

Recall that Ye dropped “Heil Hitler” on May 8, the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II.

According to the Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke, Kanye, who is married to an Australian wife, has been coming to the country for some time because he has family in Australia. However, after the release of the track, his visa was cancelled.

“He’s made a lot of offensive comments. But my officials looked at it again once he released the ‘Heil Hitler’ song and he no longer has a valid visa in Australia.

It was a lower level, and the officials still looked at the law and said: You’re going to have a song and promote that sort of Nazism — we don’t need that in Australia,” he said.

Asked if it was possible to prevent such a popular figure from entering the nation, he stressed that what is impossible is for Australia to allow the importation of hatred.

“I think what’s not sustainable is to import hatred,” Burke said.

He concluded by saying that while Australian citizens are allowed to enjoy their freedom of speech, the intentional importation of bigotry cannot be condoned.

“But we have enough problems in this country already without deliberately importing bigotry,” he added.
