Nigeria Beach soccer team will face Mauritania in the 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, AKNN can exclusively report.
The 2024 Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations qualifying draws was held at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday.
Moreso, CAF has announced the pairings on its Platform X handle.
According to the pairings, defending champions Senegal will be up against Guinea, while Angola face Morocco. Ghana will also do battle with Cote d’Ivoire.
The other games in the qualifiers are Tanzania vs Uganda, Seychelles vs Mozambique and Burundi vs Malawi.
The first legs of the qualifiers are expected to take place from 19 – 21 July 2024, while the second legs will hold between 26 – 28 July.
The Beach Eagles emerged champions at the BEACH Soccer AFCON on two occasions, 2007 and 2009.
