NNPCL Warns Public About Fake Port Harcourt Refinery recruitment

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has issued a warning to the public to disregard fraudulent recruitment announcements related to the Port Harcourt Refining Company (PHRC).

Reports have surfaced of a fake recruitment notice allegedly issued by the Port Harcourt refinery, which is being spread across various online platforms.

In a released by Olufemi O. Soneye, the Chief Corporate Communications Officer of NNPCL, the company emphasized that no recruitment is currently underway for the refinery. It was further clarified that there is no separate recruitment process for PHRC, apart from the general one initiated last year that covers all NNPC Ltd operations.

Candidates who successfully passed the Computer-Based Aptitude Test are scheduled to proceed to the interview stage later this week.

“The recruitment link circulating on various platforms is the work of fraudsters aiming to exploit the recent revitalization of the Port Harcourt Refinery, attempting to deceive the public with a fake recruitment notice,” the company stated. “We urge the public to be cautious and avoid falling victim to this scam.”
