… It’s a divine programme orchestrated by God, Prophet affirm
The Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, Amazing Grace District last Sunday held a powerful Open Air Crusade at the Lion Field, Alimosho, Lagos.
The venue was filled to capacity, as hundreds of people graced the occasion, in which God manifested himself through signs and wonders.
Prophet Daniel Johnson, Chairman, Planning Committee of the Open Air Crusade an insight on the annual open-air crusade programme organized by the Church.
Johnson admitted that the 2023 annual open-air crusade came with plethora of challenges, however with God on their side, the event was held.
He acknowledged that the annual program is a directive from God to the church, which the church has adhered to over the years.
He however advised Nigerians and Christians around the globe to stand firm and stay by God.
In the same vein, Apostle Babatunde Ola-Dada, Shepherd, Ambassadors of Christ, a arm in the Church, noted that the open-air crusade is not an idea brought to existence by Man, but a divine instruction from God that the programme should be held once in a year.
Ola-Dada Stressed that over the years, there have been series of testimonies, as Miracle is assured during the program because it’s a spiritual programme and not a man-led event.
“This programme is a commandment from God, that’s why despite the challenges faced by the church the number of attendees for the program keeps on increasing”.
He however pleaded with Christians to seek God and worship him in truth and In spirit.
The Church General Secretary, Snr. Apostle Taiwo during a media chat also noted that he had doubts about white garment churches at a point in life because they were known to be fetish, until he got closer to the Late Founder, Spec. Apos. Solomon Olanrewaju Aiyegbusi and got to know that the church is based on prayer, water and anointing for miracle purpose.
He said, “I used to think all white garment churches were fetish until I met the late founder, he would only ask you to bring water or anointing oil, he won’t collect it from you, he will ask you to hold it yourself, and use your mouth to pray to it, and you will receive your miracle.
“Some of us are following the principles and God’s divine instruction of our late founder in his absence, because this open-air crusade is God’s mandate given to our father, to be held once a year, and we are following that divine instruction till date.
Taiwo added that that the leadership of the Church is forward to a power-packed event, that will also be an Open Air Revival to further propagate the Gospel.
Speaking further, he said “Most of the things done in the Church are God’s directive and that’s why you can see the hand of God moving in our midst because it’s not done with the knowledge nor wisdom of men, but God takes charge”.
Delving into the Corporate Social Responsibilities of the Church and it has been impacting the needy, Taiwo said the Church is looking forward to next month when it will be giving out to the widows and the needy, so as to cushion the effect of the economic downturn the country is going through at the moment.
